I wanted to take an opportunity to clarify an excerpt in my book, Mind, Body, Spirit and Discovering the Purpose of Life
“––Modern health and wellness have re-emerged the trend of the mind-body-spirit ancient healing
modalities as a practice used in conjunction with traditional medicine
today. It was not too long ago it would
have been viewed as “witch” medicine. As if it were not ordinary to practice
holistic approaches to health and wellness.
Another tool that is becoming more popular today is lesson cards,
oracles cards, healing energy cards, angel cards, crystal cards, moon cards,
tarot cards; whatever the author wants to call them. They are cards of pictures with symbolic
meanings, words of wisdom, items of nature, questions for contemplation, some
relating to astrology, etc…––They can be very useful and are to be taken light
heartedly.”
Author’s
comment–––whatever tool you use in accordance to your own intuition and
logic––it should never be used as a ritual unless you are in prayer with God,
Jesus Christ. This includes people,
celebrities, royalty, politicians, sports figures, even the Pope. It is a grave sin to idolize anything other
than God.
On a positive note––pictures do help express meaning to feels and troubles that may be
going on in another’s life that are not so easy to articulate. Visual pictures are used in education and are
known as assistive technology tools that foster communication which has had
proven benefits. However–– just
be aware when engaged in a spiritual realm–– you cannot “see” the
spirits or energy of that world so it can be dangerous.
“Some religious practices
are against cards–– as they are seen as a form of witchcraft or can open a
doorway to negative energies if not used correctly.”––
“ –– The most important point here is to note:
“––– I think it is important that whatever mechanism or tool you use to help
align the chakras of your body, to improve your spiritual growth, you must be
aware of negative entities. There is
good and bad in the world, and we must be mindful of that. We also must recognize that doing anything
in life without God can lead you down a pathway of darkness. With that being said––when using lesson cards, spirit cards, or tarot cards
stay focused on an intention for healing. Pray over the cards before using them so you
do not get misled on what the Universe and God is trying to assist you with.”
––“Our intuition is our most insightful
tool that you can use. Knowing that,
and believing that, will guide you most in life. As in writing or reading spiritual
literature, poems, or spiritual quotes they all foster a resonating connection
to life. Lesson cards are the same. They may focus you on one word like “Faith”
for example, and if that comes up–– you may think right away “I have no
faith”, instead think of it is a positive light––such as “Faith will get
you through”––Any word can be misconstrued to mislead you into a
direction of darkness, and that is precisely why the church is against it.”
